HOW ARE YOU ADDRESSING DISCRIMINATION IN YOUR WORKPLACE?
Do you value difference? Any good sports coach knows that a successful team requires a healthy mix of abilities, strengths and perspectives. However, as humans we have an unconscious tendency to gather with people who are like us. When groups of similar people with similar biases form businesses and organisations, then those biases get 'baked into' the culture of the organisation. It becomes systemic. If all those people are male or white or straight or able-bodied then people who don't fit the 'norm' can find themselves ostracised or worse, victimised and excluded.
This training will explore unconscious bias and how to build an inclusive, welcoming workplace that drives innovation, productivity and opportunity for all.
